This Privacy Policy describes how Minimage ("the App", "the Software") handles information in relation to its users. Minimage is a desktop image-processing application for Windows, macOS, and Linux, developed and maintained by Shridhar T L ("the Developer").
This policy is written in plain language so that every user can clearly understand what data is and is not collected.

2. Our Core Commitment
Minimage collects nothing, transmits nothing, and requires no account.
Minimage is a fully offline desktop application. Every operation — opening images, resizing, converting, optimizing, annotating, watermarking, and exporting — happens locally on your own device. Your images and your settings never leave your computer, and the App does not connect to any server to do its work.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect
To be absolutely explicit, the following is never collected by the Developer in any form:
- Your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information (PII)
- Your IP address or device identifiers
- The images you open, process, or export
- The file names, folder paths, or contents of your files
- Your presets, settings, or configuration
- Usage, telemetry, crash, or analytics data
- Location data of any kind

4. How the App Works — All Processing is Local
Minimage performs all image work natively on your machine using its built-in Rust imaging engine. Specifically:
- Images you add (via the file picker, drag & drop, or clipboard paste) are
- Presets and settings are stored locally on your own device and are never
- Metadata is stripped on export. Because outputs are re-encoded from raw
At no point does any image or any data processed by the App reach the Developer's servers or any other external server.

5. Network Access
Minimage does not require an internet connection to function and does not make network requests as part of its image-processing features. If a future version introduces an optional, clearly labeled online feature (for example, checking for updates), it will be described in an updated version of this policy before it takes effect, and any such feature will be optional.

6. Analytics
Minimage collects zero analytics. No usage data, feature interaction data, or telemetry of any kind is collected or transmitted. There are no current plans to add analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated with a new Effective Date before any such change takes effect, and any analytics would be anonymous and opt-out.

7. Data Sharing and Sale
The Developer does not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with any third party — because no user data is collected in the first place.

8. Third-Party Services
Minimage does not embed any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, data brokers, or tracking services.

9. Security
Because no user data is transmitted to or stored by the Developer, there is no server-side data to secure. Your images, presets, and settings remain on your own device under your full control at all times.

10. Your Rights
Since the Developer collects no personal data, there is no personal data held by the Developer to access, correct, export, or delete. All your data lives on your own device and is under your full control. You may delete the App and its local data at any time.

11. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be published at the same location with an updated Effective Date at the top of the document. Users are encouraged to review this document periodically.
